Sponsored by the city of Seoul and produced by Saejowi, our annual Reunification Play "Superstar Lee Dong Hyun" ran from October 21 (Wednesday) to October 26 (Monday), at 8 PM KST. Due to COVID-19, we were unable to invite our audience to a theater. Instead, we staged our performances at the 남북통합문화센터 (North-South Unification Cultural Center) and livestreamed the performances on Youtube.
Both North and South Koreans participated in the play as actors. Dong-Hyun is a North Korean defector who is searching for his separated brother, and with the help of his friend Yejin and her family, he tries out in a singing competition.
