One Korea Exchange Festival Preliminaries

OCTOBER 11 — Saejowi hosted the preliminary event for the One Korea Exchange Festival, a singing competition featuring 15 different teams of North Korean refugees. In order to qualify for the big stage, each group performed a South Korean song with lyrics replaced with North Korean terminology. Refugees worked as volunteers for the event and winners were picked by a panel of judges.
